Review of Jojo Rabbit (2019)

One of the newest comedy satire films that brilliantly executed was Jojo Rabbit by Taika Waititi. This New Zealand filmmaker has an authentic satire sense of humor. Jojo Rabbit is a film adaptation of the novel that invites us to see World War II from the perspective of a 10-year-old boy who idolizes Adolf Hitler.

With a comedy packaging that looks childish and cheerful, Jojo Rabbit contains the dark reality of a young boy who was brainwashed in the Hitler Youth. Hitler Youth was a children’s camp prepared for war and worship of Nazi leaders. Jojo, the main character in this film also has an imaginary friend who is actually a manifestation of the doctrine implanted in Jojo’s brain.

There was one funny scene where the Gestapo agent said ‘Heil, Hitler’ as an opening greeting to everyone they met. We will see this scene as ridiculous humorous material, even that material is not material made up by Taika Waititi, the Gestapo agents did greetings in such a way as once the respect and image of Hitler’s power. What is his name at the level of a sacred God? If you want to find that out, you can watch the film on https://www.imdb.com/list/ls052109630/.
